Nita and I (Andre) have been here for 12 years and are well versed in all the things to do and local advice. Local and reef fishing are very popular and we can advise you where to catch them.

Property info

Flying Fish Point Tourist Park, the ideal place to base yourself while you explore this fabulous region. All our cabins are air conditioned, and fully self contained with cooking facilities, fridge, microwave and bed linen. All are ensuited except for 2. Various bedding configurations are available. (see booking screen)

Neighborhood info

Flying Fish Point is a quiet beach side community located where the Coral Sea meets the Johnstone River. Situated across the road from the beach and 7km from the "art deco" town of Innisfail. The Point was a important entry point for ships and barges in the early days of shipping in the area. Evidence is still visible. We have world heritage national parks at our doorstep. Wonderful walks are available along pristine beaches (Ella Bay National Park) Kangaroos, cassowaries and a large varieties of birds may be sited on the beaches
