Forth River Cottage is the perfect destination to completely relax and enjoy the outdoors. The cottage is just stunning, like something from a country magazine. Sally has left no stone unturned to ensure the comfort of all her guests. I loved everything about my stay here, from enjoying the generous breakfast provisions provided by Sally that were catered to my dietary requirements. Sitting outside under the stars with a glass of wine, listening to the wildlife. The outdoor bath is beautifully positioned on the edge of the river, and it's the perfect space to enjoy. I loved how Sally has sourced and provided all local or Tasmanian made products, luxurious body wash, lotions, candles, and bath salts - the list is endless. There is nothing I did not love about my stay, and I cannot wait to return ❤️.

Lovely studio cottage set on the banks of the river. The owners were very helpful and gave us some excellent recommendations for places to eat. The breakfast provisions were plentiful including fruit from the garden. One of the few places where we felt welcome even though we never actually met.

The relaxed and luxurious feel of the cottage was splendid. Really loved cooking the fresh produce straight from the garden while enjoying a view of the river. So relaxing in the outdoor bath at night star and satellite spotting. So many little extras provided by the host made us feel very spoiled.

This was the best provisioned holiday house of the many that we have stayed at over the last 10 years in Tasmania. Fresh bread fruit and breakfast goodies in abundance. Host Sally was welcoming and friendly and promptly answered our few queries. scenic views of the ever changing Forth River levels. lots of details of the local area in the home guide book. This is possibly the best place we have ever stayed and I’m going to gush about it. Set in a stunning riverside location, the beautifully presented, incredibly well appointed cottage is an absolute joy to stay in. The hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need for a very special stay - we were provided with an amazing selection of fresh food for breakfast, along with a pantry and fridge stocked with all the tea, coffee & condiments you could need. The bed is comfortable, the linens are quality, the bathroom is luxurious - again, well supplied and full of thoughtful touches. Then there is the outdoor area - comfy furniture, bbq, blankets, games, hammocks, lush gardens and a riverside platform with fireplace and a claw foot bath - yes there are candles, bath salts and a portable speaker - like I said, everything has been considered. Thank you to Sally & Ingrid for a wonderful stay, if we are ever back in Tassie we will book again without hesitation.
