We liked everything about this property. Carmen was such an amazing host and her knowledge on horses was inspirational! This is the ONLY holiday cottage we have been to where horse riding classes were available!! Made the trip that much more exciting and memorable for our family. Waking up in this cottage each morning was like a dream as the windows face the paddocks. The beautiful trees around just added to the serenity of the location.

Giyabwe is a 20 acre property that has a charming Cottage nestled in picturesque Macclesfield. Surrounded by the serene beauty of nature and the gentle presence of horses, cows, chickens and more. This retreat offers a unique and tranquil experience. The accomodation is cozy with warm hospitality. Come and rejuvenate in this unique retreat and enjoy all the property and the surrounds of the Yarra Valley have to offer. The accomodation also offers to bring your own horses and have lessons or just enjoy the local trails. The cabin has two bedrooms with Queen sized beds, living room with TV , internet, kettle, microwave and fridge. Tea and Coffee facilities provided. All linen and some crockery and cuttlery. BBQ facilities with great outdoor Gazebo.
The property boarders with Yellingbo Nature Reserve which is known for Yellow helmeted Honeyeater birds and Wedge Tail Eagles. This area is well known for its horse population and various farming while having large numbers of native animals.
