Golden cane B&B is in a very quiet location and close to all facilities. I have recently added a kitchenette and guests are finding this a great addition. They can prepare snacks for their evening drinks or light meals and salads for their barbecues. The property is 5 mins drive away from Mon Repos and guests find this convenient between Nov and March when the turtle season is on. The Golf course is at the end of the street and I believe one of the best in QLD. Maybe I'm biased as I am a playing member. The 10m salt pool is a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. A wide variety of birds can be seen in the trees beside the pool. My place is decorated with many treasures from the countries I have visited. The African touch possibly the strongest.

I am an ex teacher and enjoy my B&B immensely as it gives me the chance to meet some every interesting people. I have travelled all over the world and find visitors from overseas so interesting. In my spare time when lucky I play golf, mahjong, swim, walk my dog and visit friends

Bargara is an amazing place to visit. It has a laid back small village atmosphere with trendy restaurants, boutiques and coffee spots. There is one hotel with a family atmosphere, a bowls club and a golf club. Walking is pleasant especially along the beach front as is bicycle riding. All water sports are available and we have 2 beaches patrolled in the summer season. I believe it is magical place to live and a great place to visit.
