Built in 1834, this unique and elegant hotel is located in the heart of Hobart's CBD (Central Business District). Hadley's Orient Hotel is just 5 minutes' walk from Constitution Dock and the Salamanca Markets. The heritage-listed Hadley's Orient Hotel is the oldest continuously operating boutique hotel in Tasmania. It features an atrium-style restaurant and bar and caters to different types of events, such as conferences and banquets. The classic guestrooms have been fully restored and offer a TV, tea/coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom with bathtub. Elizabeth St Mall, Royal Hobart Hospital and Hobart Museum are all within 400 meters of the hotel. Hadley's Hotel is 20 minutes’ drive from Hobart Airport. The Hadley's Art Prize is held annually in the custom-designed galleries at Hadley's Orient Hotel.
