Beach Havens is one of my favourite places in Emerald Beach, I stay there regularly. The quality of the kitchen, the appliances and the bedding and linen is second to none. The shower has great pressure and everything you need is supplied. It has a great outdoor area with a BBQ [it rained the whole time so didn't enjoy the outdoors at all]. The host Leesa is absolutely amazing and always responds with any requests or issues.

Haven Tropicana the private lower duplex of The Beach Havens. Welcoming you through bespoke double front doors into the universal level access of sleek seeded polished concrete floors. A thoughtful & calming space perfect for a couples, friends, or small families. Behind the double oversized handmade doors lies a delightful open plan haven incorporating a fully provisioned galley kitchen with suspended concrete benches and cabinetry, a crafted norfolk pine dining table and a cosy lounge area with antique cane daybed and hand woven wool rug. Opening onto a north facing covered deck surrounded by a private tropical oasis filled with a myriad of birdlife. ​ Either side of the living area are two generous queen size bedrooms with resort comfort beds, 100% cotton and linen bedding, large integrated robes and floor to ceiling views of the lush north facing garden. The covered deck features a luxurious double Brazilian tassled hammock inviting our guests to while away hours lost in their holiday read or gently drift off to the lullaby of bird songs and ocean sounds lapping nearby. ​ That's Haven Tropicana. It's welcoming and warm. It's designed for all to enjoy. It's your home away from home beach haven. To our valued guests … in order to reflect the rising costs of our staff, maintenance costs, utilities & suppliers we have had to raise our 2023 tariff. Please note we do not charge any add on fees - cleaning, linen or host fees. Service fees are charged by this booking platform. As always we are committed to providing our guests with a quality beach holiday house. We appreciate your business & your support.
We are Mark and Leesa, your hosts. The Beach Havens - Haven Tropicana and Haven Oceana are our creations. This is a small family run business. We’re designer builders, artists, sculptors, stylists, producers, project managers and jewellers. The Beach Havens was designed and hand built by Mark including all cast concrete cabinetry, indoor and outdoor tables, swinging day beds, chinese screens etc. Our youngest daughter and I create the interior decor. Together now for 30+ years sharing 5 children. We’re also the proud Noni and Poppy to six glorious grandson’s and one precious granddaughter. Via work and leisure we’ve travelled far and wide and there are some truly amazing places out there in this small planet of ours. But we have not yet found anywhere we love more than this part of north coast NSW. We live nearby in another of our hand built creations. We love creating with our hands, pottering in our gardens, exploring our exquisite part of coastline and hinterland, and spending time with our family and friends. We like to keep things simple. As Michael Leunig says “love one another, and you will be happy. It’s as simple and difficult as that”.
Emerald Beach positioned near Look-at-me-now Headland is a great destination for a family holiday. It’s a quieter atmosphere than some of the other beaches along the Coffs Coast, as well as being a safe option for swimming. When the little ones are finished swimming, you can take them on a beach walk around to Look At Me Now Headland to see all the kangaroos, dolphins and whales or head to the playground in the park behind the beach. Emerald Beach caters for surfers too, boasting an excellent beach break, along with a southern left-hand reef break. You can even walk your dog on a lead north of Fiddamans Creek and south of Diggers Head. It's also a great beach or headland fishing spot. You'll find several cafes just behind the beach along with a bottle shop, general store and hairdresser. You can enjoy a meal while taking in spectacular coastal views or pick up a coffee to take on your way. Less than a few minutes off the Pacific Highway
