The hosts were lovely and made an effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible - they provided a range of items for breakfast, which was a nice touch. It was clean and had all the facilities described. Great location close to Scarness beach - couldn't really ask for more.

We are located less then 1km to Scarness beach. The unit has it's own private entrance. Features include a large bedroom (with ceiling fan and air conditioner) with queen sized bed & TV (with DVD player), separate bathroom with shower & bath, & a large combined living/dining/kitchen (with ceiling fan) with reclining couch and tv with Netflix.
Fit and active couple with two teenagers - love the gym and running. Love our animals - two dogs, one cat, five chooks, one indian ringneck and a turtle.
Situated 3 and a half hours drive north of Queensland’s capital, Brisbane, Hervey Bay is a natural bay between the mainland and World Heritage-listed Fraser Island. Renowned for its visiting humpback whales, and the close and intimate Whale Watching experiences that the local fleet can offer, Hervey Bay is a popular playground for tourists all year round because of its mild climate. Hervey Bay’s golden beaches stretch for approximately 14 kilometers along the Bay’s foreshore offering families a safe haven to swim or to just enjoy the sand. Directly opposite the esplanade, all beaches are close to services and facilities. Sheltered by Fraser Island, the beach side town of Hervey Bay is a friendly and relaxing place to visit!
