A waterfront sandstone brick house situated on 6.5 acres of quite rural retreat overlooking the Bruny island ferry terminal and the Kettering marinas. A herd of kangaroos keep the lawns mowed (which don't mind also a piece of bread also, as do the many species of abundant bird life,
Retired professionals from Queensland where we had cattle interests . Came to see the wooden boat show and fell in love with the area and the climate, local outstanding views that would cost millions on the mainland abound.
A quite neighborhood with excellent sight seeing, lovely day drives and walks (some even through this property) friendly numerous native animals make use of the quite rural areas which are only minutes from Hobart and our regional shopping complexes almost no traffic to speak of except the rush hour which still gets moving along at a fair clip . Some say its like Australia in the 60's, others more like England without the travel costs and hassles
