Echidna Hideaway: 2 Bedroom cabin Queen and 2 single beds, with a double sofa in the loungeroom. Continental Breakfast. The cabin has been designed special needs friendly with all doorways within the cabin 900mm wide. Fully insulated cabin with reverse cycle air conditioning available. Carport parking available with barbeque. Plenty of room to park your boat or trailer. Built in 2020 with the cabin being furnished to a very high standard. Kookaburra's Rest: 1 Bedroom Queen bed with ensuite, lounge dining table, Continental Breakfast. The cabin is designed special needs friendly, ensuite door 900mm wide. Television able to be viewed from loungeroom and bedroom. Fully insulated cabin. Carport parking. Cabin completed in 2024 with the cabin furnished to a very high standard.
2 cabins have now been completed cabin 3 in 2020, cabin 2 in 2024, with the 3rd cabin due this year. We have designed the cabins to assist people with special needs. We moved to Meander in 2017, and have built the cabin and caravan park from scratch. Donnaven and I ran the well known coffee van U-Me Coffee Plzz which we situate at the Great Lakes Lookout and venues within Tasmania. We welcome people to the park to enjoy the tranquil setting which is around us.
Our location allows us to enjoy the views of the snow in the winter on the mountain tops around us. Magical fishing spots in the Meander River and Huntsman Lake, which had been used recently for the World Flyfishing Championships. Yes we are centrally positioned in Tasmania and within 1 hour of both Launceston & Devonport. Approximately 15 km to Deloraine and within day trip driving to Cradle Mountain makes our Park a great place to set up and explore.
