Host was very attentive and accommodating. She gave us recommendations for which walks to consider, which are closed, etc, which gave me a chance to adjust the itinerary in advance and have a smoother day. The location was absolutely superb and more peaceful than Halls Gap. You wake up to the one of most stunning views And have it all to yourself with another two villas at most. The room also felt of high quality with the wooden floors, marble tables, comfortable beds and clear views of the Grampians. By night you can stargaze or stay by the fireplace inside. The food and the wine selection was high quality and set to your schedule, within reason. It was also lovely that after a full day of hiking you can have a spa bath. Beatrice also prepared homemade cookies each day, which was a nice touch. Everything has been thought of here.

Meringa Springs also features cozy open fireplaces, double glazed windows and under floor heating in the main lodge. An outdoor pool is yours to enjoy in the warmer weather, and there is also an on-site restaurant and bar. Every room is equipped with a flat-screen TV and DVD player. All units have a lounge area for your convenience, and feature views of the mountains. All rooms have a private bathroom fitted with a double shower and double spa bath. Extras include bath robes, slippers and free toiletries. You can engage in various activities nearby, such as horse riding, cycling and hiking.
