Set on 1 hectare of stunning gardens, Modra's Apartments offers self-contained accommodations with a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Free private car or boat parking is available on site. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, refrigerator and both crockery and cutlery and a seating area with a flat-screen TV, DVD player. All units have a private bathroom with a hairdryer. All linen is provided, free of charge. Guests have access to fish cleaning facilities and a communal barbecue area. The apartments are located adjacent to the marina and boat ramp.

Norm and Jenny Modra had a change of lifestyle in 1984, moving from farming life in central Eyre Peninsula to a new business venture at Tumby Bay. With their young family of three children under 10, it was a fantastic decision to move to Tumby Bay and raise their children in the safe and friendly community. Along with Norm’s garden master plan and major apartment renovations, the business has seen many changes and developments over the past 30 years. Damian and Kristy Modra returned to Tumby Bay in May 2010 to continue the family tradition and raise their family in Tumby Bay. Kristy and Damian are proud parents of the two newest member to the Modra Team, with the birth of their first child Skyla Reed born on 29th Nov 2010 and Annabel Kay born on 6th April 2013.
Tumby Bay is a picturesque small fishing town with an artistic atmosphere. With the friendly relaxed lifestyle, Tumby Bay is a popular destination for a holiday getaway anytime of the year. With the synergy of a sea level elevation, temperate climate and long sunshine hours, your Tumby Bay holiday experience will be a true reflection of the spectacular characteristics this region is renowned for. Sunny walks along footprint free sandy beaches is a “must do” at Tumby Bay. With a 10km long bay, and many smaller isolated beaches, Tumby Bay is a hidden gem without the crowds of many destinations closer to Adelaide. Tumby Bay is an idyllic location to base your Eyre Peninsula holiday, with amazing fishing opportunities, site-seeing day trips to Coffin Bay National Park, the wild west coast, the City of Port Lincoln, and the picturesque, rolling Koppio Hills, just to name a few. Being the gateway to the Sir Joseph Banks Group of Islands, Tumby Bay is a favourite spot amongst the fishing and boating community. The famous King George Whiting is highly sort after, with snapper, snook, squid and garfish also being plentiful around the islands and closer to shore.
