We love the tall trees - the fresh mountain air - the views of Melbourne city lights at night from SkyHigh Mt Dandenong. We love exploring the interesting shops, dining at Coonara Springs Restaurant. Our most special joy though is the nature, bird song, wild life we see from day to day - we never want to leave!

Moulton Park Estate has been refurbished to offer a classically inspired décor elegantly reflecting the rich heritage of this c. 1910 original hills property. Refined and stately in every detail you will be swept away to a bygone era where etiquette and grace were commonplace and sipping port around the piano seemed just good manners. Nestled on 3 acres of established English gardens this luxurious homestead boasts a half tennis court. French doors opening on to a sweeping verandah, picture windows and a light filled living room, complete with an open wood fire, allow you to either sit and enjoy the magnificent setting or relax and watch a movie. The Homestead has 3 generous bedrooms, all with king sized beds that are adorned in the most exquisite linen. The master bedroom has an en-suite with a free standing bath and the other bedrooms share a bathroom that includes a spa & Shower. With an open plan dining and kitchen area, that lends itself to intimate entertaining & dinner parties, and a dining table you will not want to leave the estate. And with additional accommodation on site The Gatehouse and Keeper's Cottages you can ask friends and family along.

Moulton Park is close to the village of Sassafras with its beautiful boutique shops, cafes and Olinda village with its eclectic mix of shopping is just 4 kms away. The National parks encourage wonderful walks in the fresh mountain air, Sherbrooke Forest walk to the Falls, followed by coffee and yummy food at Burnham Beeches is a must do! The gardens of Cloudehill in Olinda are not to be missed, and the restaurant Seasons at Cloudehill surely have the best lemon tart, coffee or tea anywhere. The National Rhododendron Gardens are 100 acres of wonderland during spring and a beautiful walk any time of the year. SkyHigh lookout over Melbourne is a much loved spot, Karwarra Native Gardens are a well kept secret. Great eateries such as Coonara Springs Restaurant, Copperfields, and the cafes Ripe, Miss Marples, Brunch, Woods of Sherbrooke are ever beckoning. The wonderful wineries of the Yarra Valley, Tarrawarra Museum of Modern Art, fabulous eateries and ballooning are just 45 minutes away. Base yourself at Moulton Park and enjoy our region, or even travel to Melbourne which is just an hour away by train.
