Idyllically located in the Noosa Hinterland lived up to its namesake. John welcomed us into his home and regaled us with yarns of his very colourful life. Sadly we had to push on but would love to return and stay a little longer in their 'holiday with nature' cabin. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Whilst in Australia make sure you visit its iconic subtropical NOOSA Shire, the favoured holiday destination of Aussies. *Combine its stunning stunning Hinterland countryside and its rolling forested hills and cute villages with its golden Noosa beaches just perfect for surfing or just lazing. *Don't trade urban for urban but come to the countryside,HERE you can HEAR the silence beyond the birdsongs. *At NOOSA HINTERLAND SPECTACULAR, whether you are a local or a foreign tourist we are going to try oh so hard to give you a truly unforgettable experience- whether as a single,a couple or a family ! *Our bedrooms are very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The formal lounge has been likened to the best of the London clubs. Dining can be either formal or al fresco or even brought your bedside ! We guarantee to ' tickle your tastebuds with our table d'hote dishes from all over the world. *If you wish to be active there is our designer swimming pool or tennis on our synthetic grass court[ [gear supplied free],even fishing in our permanent creek or walking the designated trails plus mountain climbing. Or simply enjoy and relax in our subtropical gardens.
We enjoy meeting different folks! Nora is Asian ,qualified and able to provide full beauty treatments in the beauty room. John retired,works the cattle ,chooks and vegie gdns on this hobby farm while he enjoys the wildlife on these 72 acres of official LAND FOR WILDLIFE. Entertainment is our hobby ! Nights with us can be filled with musicals,concerts,comedy,movies and even most of the famous operas. John ,a big reader keeps an extensive library , great by the open fire on winter nights. We both love art and have built a small collection of pieces which we hope you will enjoy. Nora is an imaginative cook and envied by her friends for her culinary skills. We are an active couple and are regular golfers and have friends join us at home for lots of social tennis. We have travelled extensively to many parts of the globe and are keen to show off Australia to international visitors.
The local attractions are great and varied on the " Sunshine Coast "of Queensland .We have the Majestic Theatre , the only remaining silent movie theatre in the world. We have the Mary Valley Rattler steam train for day trips into the hinterland towns. There are the beautifull and extensive Noosa Botanical Gardens with its Roman style ampitheatre overlooking Lake McDonald for classical concerts. Noosa Museum is also close. King Of The Mountain footrace is run up Mt Cooroora, seen from our bedroom.There are two local Art galleries nearby and a new Boutique Brewery and eatery to join a number of other great restaurants serving food of different nationalities. Heritage listed Fraser Island the largest sand island in the world makes for a good day excursion as are a number of other trips through this Noosa Hinterland. We are happy to collect you from the Airport and to facilitate your moving around and of course helping you plan completely unforgettable days whilst staying with NOOSA HINTERLAND SPECTACULAR Boutique Guesthouse !!!
