Our cool and very comfortable one bedroom apartment is a relaxing hideaway in paradise. Centrally located and off the street, it is abundant in all types of wildlife. It is a fully furnished, self-contained, one bedroom unit and is situated on the ground floor of our two storey home. It consists of a large combined lounge/kitchen, bedroom and bathroom/laundry. It is double brick and well insulated, very cool in summer. The kitchen is fully equipped with 2 burner cook-top, microwave, bar fridge, oven, electric jug, toaster, grill, slow-cooker, crockery and cutlery. There is a wall-mounted flat screen tv with free American NETFLIX and an MP3 stereo/radio in the lounge room. Free fast wireless internet is available! Queen size quality and very comfy latex bed. Linen, blankets and pillows provided. Also an extra sofabed with a sprung mattress can take up to 4 people in the apartment. Combined bathroom/laundry includes front loading washing machine. Towels provided. Set off the street on a battleaxe block in a quiet, suburban location, surrounded by national parks. There is a scenic waterfront walking/cycle path 250m away from the property, which takes you all the way along Brisbane Waters to picturesque Ettalong. The Central Coast has a very special natural resource with over 210,000 ha of natural vegetation set aside for conservation as National Parks and other reserves. The Parks of the Central Coast cover areas from the coast, including a marine extension to Bouddi National Park, through coastal lakes and lagoons, areas along the banks of the Hawkesbury River and its tributaries and up into the rugged sandstone country along the foot of the Great Dividing Range. A simple afternoon walk can take you through coastal shrubs and dunes, rainforest gullies and Eucalypt forests in only a few hours. The Parks provide the opportunity for people to partake in many different types of activities. You can go bushwalking, camping, picnicking, swimming, fishing, surfing and whale watching (at the right time of year). Bushwalkers can visit historical sites, both Aboriginal and European, observe the vast array of spectacular wildflowers and even catch a glimpse of some of the unique wildlife or just take in the breathtaking views from the lookouts.
