Occupying the first floor of the historically significant Ozone Hotel, a stay in the Pelican Apartment offers a truly quintessential Queenscliff experience. One of the town’s early buildings, the former hotel has long hosted weary travellers - from its early days as a lively beachside haunt of the rich and famous to a safe haven for seafarers and fishermen. Today, the first floor Pelican Apartment offers an opportunity to experience the opulence of yesteryear, whilst enjoying high quality modern conveniences and easy access to contemporary Queenscliff’s vibrant cafes, restaurants and boutiques.
With access available via a central lift or stairs, the apartment offers three large bedrooms, all with sweeping high ceilings and premium fittings. The master bedroom is stylish and comfortable, with a king size bed, plenty of storage, occasional chair, TV and sleek en suite with shower and toilet. The second bedroom also holds a king size bed, robe storage, a TV and direct access to a central family bathroom shared with the main living space. A third bedroom off the formal sitting area has two single beds, an ornamental fireplace and views to the bay.
The central open plan living area offers a high-spec kitchen, with gorgeous stone benchtops and huge island bench breakfast bar. Including everything you’d ever require when self catering - there is gas cooking, dishwasher, oven, premium kitchenware and crockery. The adjacent dining area has direct access to a private north facing balcony with a bbq and outdoor seating.
To the front of the apartment, a formal sitting room boasts an ornamental fireplace and views to the Mornington Peninsula.
