I really liked this place - the apartment is one half of a duplex and although the other apartment was also inhabited while we were there we rarely head anything. The house has a very comfortable/family feel to it and is an easy place to relax. The location is excellent - 5 min walk to everywhere, 24 hour servo across the road.

We are on 3 blocks of land in a Unique position-within a small Seaside township, walking distance to Seaside, Wharf, Main street, 7 day Supermarket, Hotels, Cafe, Gift Stores, Hardware stores that stock fishing supplies and Historic sites. On site Parking, clean and comfortable on a Island that is true "Australiana". Your only neighbour on site is a Spinners and Weavers cottage shop on the same land. Room for parking a Boat or trailer. Proteas, Leucadendrens,Carnations, Herbs in the garden , Fruit trees, natural, non sculptured garden. Clean, fresh air, room to move. Fullly equipped kitchen, full sized Washing Machine and Dryer. We supply your Bed linen and towels. Free Wifi available in the main street cafes and Hotels.
We love to share our beautiful Island Salty Air Apartments with guests. We understand the worry of travel arrangements and anxiety about the "unknown " for first time visitors to Kangaroo island. We do our best to accommodate your needs, whether you are singles, couples or families.
The Wharf is walking distance only a few minutes. Fishing and squidding permitted form the Wharf. The Play ground (enclosed by fencing) is alongside the Wharf and Beach area. Aurora Ozone Hotel, Queenscliff Family Hotel, Fast food, Cafe 's Hotels, Supermarket and Shopping all minutes walking distance from Salty Air. Historical site of the first landing from Britain on South Australia was at Reeves Point, Kingscote ,Kangaroo Island . Historical Cemetery, site of first European Tree planted on Kangaroo Island "The Mulberrry Tree". Walking trail along the Kingscote foreshore to Brownlow Beach. Walking trail from Kingscote towards Reeves point. Tidal Ocean Salt Water Swimming pool in Kingscote. Art Galleries, community and up market. Bike Hire. Penguin walk (nocturnal). Pelican Feeding at the Wharf area daily. Bay of shoals. The "Spit" , a long sand bar is visible at low tide.
