Excellent location overlooking the vineyards, cellar door for tastings on site and short drive to many other vineyards. Excellent Cafe and pub is down the road. Lovely rooms, clean and comfortable, common lounge with a fireplace and games. Lovely breakfast served and nothing was too much, every request met.

Nestled among a vineyard, Sancerre Estate is located in the Granite Belt Wine region. B&B guests enjoy free cooked breakfast and rooms boasting a patio and mountain views. Sancerre Estate is a 10-minute drive from both Girraween National Park and Sundown National Park. It is a 15-minute drive from the heart of Stanthorpe. All B&B rooms have reverse-cycle air conditioning, flat-screen TV, bar-fridge, electric kettle with tea and coffee and a private bathroom. They all overlook the View Wine vineyard. Guests can relax by the fireplace in the shared lounge area, complete with leather lounges, a stereo and a selection of books and games. Free newspapers are on offer. A fully cooked breakfast is included in the room rate for the bed and breakfast King Room. A King Room, room only rate without breakfast is also available. A breakfast hamper is available on request for guests staying in the Shiraz Cottage.

Sancerre Estate – Your Vineyard Home away from Home. Your Hosts Stacey and Brad sincerely welcome you where modern luxury is twisted with contemporary charm. Home to our Estate grown View Wines, which are available during your stay. Including some rare varieties such as Alvarinho and Gros Manseng. As well as some well known favorites like Shiraz and Sauvignon Blanc.. Sancerre Estate is the perfect place to begin your Vineyard getaway nestled amongst the wine grapes and native bushland offering spectacular Panoramic views of the surrounding wineries and national parks. Several cellar doors and restaurants are even in walking distance! For a Romantic weekend our king size B&B rooms including cooked breakfast is guaranteed to spoil your loved one. To one side of the Main Residence our 3 bedroom Guesthouse “Shiraz Cottage” is the perfect retreat to enjoy with friends or family with accommodation options catering for up to 6 guests. The house is self-contained including full size BBQ on your own veranda allowing your inner chef to take control of breakfast and dinner.
The estate was originally established by Peter and Anne Smith and was known as Smiths Vineyard. Initially planting the vineyards took place in the late 1980’s. The Bed & Breakfast was then built and opened in 1993, followed by Shiraz Cottage in 1997. In 2013 Peter and Anne retired to Stanthorpe and sold the property to Brad and Stacey Allan. Brad and Stacey had been planning for several years to purchase their own winery or accommodation establishment. In 2012 they travelled Europe looking for inspiration and ideas. Along their travels they were lucky enough to learn of a friend of a family friend who runs a winery south of Paris in the small hilltop village of Sancerre, in which they thoroughly enjoyed their visit and inspiring the name Sancerre Estate.
Ballandean the centre of the Granite Belt Wine region, Queensland! This is the place to visit with over 30 wineries and cellar doors within easy driving distance. But wine isn’t the only attraction, there are many local fresh food and produce outlets. Girraween National Park and Sundown National Park.
