What a magical stay we had. The family reacquainted ourselves with each other by the fire, and playing poker at the oversized family table. The house was beautifully warm during the winter nights, and we were met by the gentle horses each morning. Seriously beautiful!

Snowy Wilderness is a holiday resort offering self-contained cottages on the edge of Kosciusko National Park. Each has a fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining area. Located on over 3000 hectares of wilderness in the Snowy Mountains high country, Snowy Wilderness Resort offers activities such as guided horse riding, four-wheel-drive tours and hiking. Some cottages have an open fireplace, and some feature a private barbecue area with outdoor seating. Cottages with views of the lake and mountains are available. Snowy Wilderness is a 30-minute drive from Jindabyne and it is 50 minutes' drive to the Skitube.
