Stunning new self contained suite/cottage in downstairs of beautiful forest landscape house awaits. Guests have the entire floor of the house with complete privacy & own private entrance. The apartment is fully furnished with high quality luxurious furniture, high quality bed linen, towels & slippers. Feel at peace in beautiful garden forest surroundings. Enjoy quality coffee with Kitchen Aid coffee machine, home made Belgian waffles that guests make for themselves with strawberries, blueberries, maple syrup & cream as provided in the kitchenette. The property is unique as it's only a 5 - 10 minute walk to the centre of Olinda yet it's far away from any street noise due to its forest location. If you come home at night you may even be lucky enough to spot a deer or two near the garden. The bird life in and around the property is also abundant with kookaburras, rosellas, cockatoos to name but a few. There are many restaurants, bars and pubs all within walking distance so you don't have to worry about taking the car wherever you go. The beautiful Rhododendron Gardens/Botanical Gardens are only a 10 - 15 minute walk away too.

I am here to answer any questions you may have and I have put a guide book together to help make the most of your time here. I want my guests to have a truly relaxing and unique experience and I am happy to make dinner reservations for you and to provide you with recommendations on what to do during your stay.
Set in a lovely forest setting, you will feel tucked away here from the rest of the world yet also blessed to have entertainment, walking trails, arts & culture and restaurants all only a 5 - 10 minute walk away. Olinda is at the top of the Dandenong Ranges so it really does feel like you're far away from the hustle and bustle. The neighbourhood is really friendly and in the winter is has a very European "Cottswolds" type feel to it. In the Autumn, the Chestnut trees loose their leaves and so there are chestnuts every which way you look. It's truly a beautiful part of the world. In Spring time, love is in the air as this is when wedding season starts in around here due to Olinda's picturesque beauty. In Summer, we are blessed to be a good 5 or 6 degrees cooler than the stifling heat you can sometimes feel in Melbourne. Last but not least, if you're lucky enough to make it here in the winter, you'll be able to curl up to many a fire at neighbouring restaurants and pubs and sip on some lovely mulled wine which is very popular here in the glorious Dandenong Ranges.
