The Chapel is an elegantly renovated circa 1849 Chapel. Ironstone exterior, the cathedral ceilings , contemporary décor, alongside the cottage garden and Barossa ranges, makes for a memorable Barossa experience and a great romantic weekend retreat and/or relaxing getaway. Comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests with 2 Queen sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms the main bedroom upstairs with its own ensuite shower and toilet. It is an open loft style bedroom. The second bedroom is located downstairs in the open plan living room. It is a shared space with one queen bed that can be partitioned off with curtains for privacy. Provisions are supplied for a continental breakfast on the first morning of your stay. Settle into the comfortable lounge with a wood burning combustion stove in winter. Downstairs and up stairs have reverse cycle split system air-conditioners for year-round comfort. The sun filled atrium and spa room is a great way to relax after a day exploring the Barossa. Please don't hesitate to call Jonathan or Kate during your stay if there are any issues as it is a 1849 property does have the odd issue at times and we will always endeavor to sort it out as soon as we can.
Kate and Jonathan have lived in the Barossa for 25 years , we came to South Australia for Jonathan to study wine marketing and never left as we fell in love with the area. We have had our children grow up and schooled in the Barossa its a lovely caring community which has always been safe for children. Jonathan has been running his tour business for 10 years and now manages 2 other BNBs for friends one in Angaston - Pembury Cottage and Fig Tree cottage.
