The Nest was built in 2022. A very spacious bright apartment in the heart of Torquay. Easy walk to the many restaurants Torquay has to offer. The beach is only 700 meters down Beach Road. The property provides beach towels for your comfort.
There is a very large secure room, perfect for storing your golf clubs, surf boards and there is also a bicycle rack. The large indoor clothes line is handy for hanging your surf suits on. The washing machine and dryer are also in this room.
Upstairs, there are two seating areas. One to the left of the stairs, with two large arm chairs, perfect spot for reading and the dining/ TV room is to the right of the stairs. The kitchen hosts a French Door Fridge with a nice big freezer below. There is a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, coffee pod machine, toaster, kettle, microwave, induction cook top and a full size oven for those nights that you might like to cook a roast and stay in.
The balcony has a view of the sea. It is lovely to sit on the bar stools with your morning coffee and watch the world go by. There is also a Webber Barbie on the balcony for your use.
The main bedroom has a Queen Size Bed, has an ensuite and walk in robe, with a skylight in the roof with automatic closing window and blinds.
The second bedroom has a Queen Size Bed, and also a King Single bed. Large wardrobe with plenty of space for all your shopping.
The apartment has two bathrooms (one ensuite), both with walk in showers and toilets.
The Nest has good sound proofing, making noise minimal, despite being on a corner block.

Darina was born in Dublin, Ireland and left for Australia with husband Denis and their 10 week old baby Fiona on a one way ticket in 1987. Nick and Seamus were born in Melbourne 1990 and 1993.
They lived in Kyneton, Victoria for the first 6 years before moving to Torquay in 1993.
Today Seamus, with Darina are the hosts for The Nest. We take pride in how we have grown such a special place to share with our guests and hope that they all enjoy the space.
Seamus likes to play golf locally maybe a day a week time permitting and Darina enjoys taking Skerrick, Wally and Reggie for walks along the local beaches. Darina also plays a little tennis from time to time, and enjoys time with her family.
Close drive or walk to the RACV Resort which offers many activities including golf, full buffet breakfast at their upstairs restaurant, or you might prefer a high tea with home made cakes, all with magnificent views over the ocean. Super for dinner too.
Less than 5 mins by car to all Torquay has to offer. Surf shopping and retail shopping galore right across the road from The Nest.
Torquay front beach only 700 meters, a nice stroll in the morning. The Salty Dog Cafe is great for coffee and brunch.
Guests at The Nest will be able to enjoy the many activities in and around Torquay, like snorkeling, windsurfing and cycling. Fishing and hiking can be enjoyed nearby.
There are many cliff top or beach walks only 5 minutes by car from The Nest.
Surf World Museum is a must see. This is where you can find the Tourist Information Centre with lots of brochures and information about the area.
Rip Curl and Quicksilver factory outlets are fantastic for shopping. Always a bargain to be had.
Walking on Point Addis Beach when the tide is out allows you to be able to visit the beautiful caves, and you might be lucky enough to even see some seals.
The cliff top walk from Torquay to Bells Beach is beautiful. The views are amazing. Some days you can even see as far as Authur's Seat on the other side of the bay.
Only a stones throw from the start of the Great Ocean Road and all it has to offer.
An easy drive to Lorne and beyond for lunch or dinner.
