It was our repeat visit and we loved it. This time we stayed in the annex studio unit with a lot of atmosphere and fireplace (which the host had going before we arrived). Fresh croissants and bread for breakfast waited for us in the stylish bin on our porch, yoghurt and other breakfast stuff in the fridge, I just made coffee in the coffee machine - and we toasted with the provided bottle of red wine the night before. A big comfortable bed, a nice seating area and dining table - it was so comfy and spacious that we did not want to go out. Bathroom was through a private hallway, not heated but we did not mind. We will be back!

Just over an hour's drive from Brisbane, this place is a real gem. We were very happy to have the self-contained cottage all to ourselves. There's everything you need - kitchen, laundry, sleeping area separated from the living space, and a fireplace to warm up the cottage. Harry was easily contactable but we didn't need to bother him as everything was provided for. Coolie (?) the proptery guardian dog was laid-back and friendly, he even came to join us once for breakfast. We receive a small loaf of home-baked bread and a bowl of fruit salad in the red bread box every morning. When we arrived, the fridge was already stocked with orange juice, milk, butter and cereals :) The bed and sheets were surprisingly comfortable (a big plus for us). There is even a washing machine and a drying rack for those staying a few days more. The B&B is about a 5 minute drive from Boonah centre.

Beautiful and spacious. Huge kitchen for guest use. Nice view of the countryside and peaceful surroundings. Harry provided a delicious continental breakfast each morning. Don't be concerned if you find a frog in your toilet!

I stayed in the dog friendly self contained room as I was travelling with my fur baby. Plenty of room with kitchen/diner/living area and separated bedroom and gorgeous bathroom. The breakfast was excellent. A warm loaf and the best pain au chocolate plus a bowl of fruit salad and compote all arrived before I was awake and delivered into the special bread bin on the verandah. There was a selection of cereals, OJ, yogurts plenty of milk plus a coffee machine already in the room on arrival. A full size fridge, washing machine and surprisingly a wood burner which will make this self contained room extra cosy in the cooler months. The en suite bathroom has a lovely deep bath. The double bed is very comfortable and there is also a small TV should you want it. However just chilling out and enjoying the peace and quiet and the rambling garden. Harry and Christelle are lovely hosts and are always happy to assist with anything and a delight to chat to. Thoroughly recommended.

An incredibly beautiful place to stay. So many heritage places are fussy and prissy - a bit twee. So I was a tiny bit nervous. But not this place - very tastefully furnished and decorated. Incredibly relaxing and I had a marvellous breakfast. I will return with the family for sure.
