In the marina is the Mercator, a 3-masted ship from the 1930s that now serves as a museum ship. The Mu.ZEE displays Belgian art from the 1830s onward. Visit the neo-Gothic Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, with its tall towers and characteristic stained-glass windows. Near the harbor is Fort Napoleon, a 5-sided fortification built in 1811. Drive to the medieval city of Bruges, the capital of West Flanders.
