We aim to give our guests the level privacy they desire and are flexible to accommodate these needs. There are 5 cabins on the 2.5 acre property, including our family cabin. We are here to support any of your requests or leave you as independent as you’d like. The front bay has a sandy beach perfect for kids and families and the back bay is deeper water right off the dock, float the day away in a agorgeous clean spring fed trout stocked lake. We anticipate that your stay will include interactions with other guest who are also on vacation. Notable amenities: -Kayaks, Canoes, Peddle boat and life jackets are available for use by our guests. -Internet/WIFI is available through Starlink. Amazing speeds! Log onto the property WIFI and Work or play at Cedar Cabin with confidence ! -If you’d like to bring your own boat, there is a free boat launch on the lake and we can support docking your boat in the front or back bay. -Water at the cottage is drinkable and has been tested for safety. No need to bring water.

Cedar Cabin at North Frontenac Lodge is a rustic, true Canadiana experience- the cabin is a 1940’s Fishing Lodge studio cabin. The vaulted log ceiling and exposed log walls create the coziest of spaces. This small space has all of the necessities for experiencing a truly unique adventure on one of the the most pristine and undeveloped lakes in eastern Ontario- a total gem! Enjoy the view from Cedar Cabin’s deck on the water’s edge. Inside or outside- the views of the lake are stunning!

Cedar Cabin is tucked away in serenity, with a handful of quaint opportunities to explore in the surrounding spaces. -Palmerston Marina is 10 minutes from the cottage offering a selection of grocery items, gas, or treat your crew for an ice cream delight! - The LCBO and grocery market are 15 minutes away. -The Shamrock Bakery is 15 minutes away- if you’re lucky enough to be here between Thursday and Sunday- than this destination is a must! -The Dark Sky Preserve in North Frontenac is a 20 minute drive and offers you the opportunity to explore some of the darkest skies in southern Ontario. The cottage is located off the main road. Winter access requires AWD or 4WD equipped vehicles.
