Duff Heritage House is the winner of the 2022 Provincial Southcott Award for Heritage Restoration. This beautiful and spacious colonial revival style home has been extensively renovated. It is nestled on a very mature 1/2 acre fully fenced and gated lot. The prominent covered patio spans the entire front facade. Despite the extensive restoration, this near century old home has retained its historic character. Over 3000 sq/ft of original decorative hand crafted woodwork remains within its beautiful staircase, fireplace mantels, mouldings, wooden doors and so much more.
Dion and I were both born and raised in Newfoundland. We love to travel and we love to host visitors to Newfoundland! The fresh ocean air, the abundance of walking trails and the beautiful sights of downtown St. John's are just a few of the reasons why we love it here. We know you'll love it too!
Duff Heritage Home is located a 1.7 km walk to the downtown core, the Convention Centre/Mary Brown's Centre. You will have a two minute walk to many amenities including Sobeys, NLC, Dollarama, Tim Hortons, KFC, Burger King, No Name Pizza and Plaza Bowl bowling alley. There is a scenic waking trail just minutes from the house and The Mews Centre public swimming pool is on the adjacent corner.
