Our cottage is a chic, new, 4-season lakefront property with direct west-facing, nightly sunset views. Fire ban has been lifted in our area so enjoy lakeside fires! Modern on the inside inc central heat/AC & EV Charger. Stand up paddleboard, kayaks, paddleboat, workspace, badminton net & King-sized bed available. Whether you're seeking a peaceful getaway or fun-filled adventure, our cottage offers a tranquil escape where the sounds of loons and light waves caressing the shores are the norm.
We've rented cottages over the years so now that we are able to host, we are excited about providing the best family experiences we can give.
Varty Lake is located in charming Yarker, Ontario on the banks of the Napanee River. -30 mins north of Kingston -2.5 hours from Toronto -2 hours from Ottawa -5 minutes to the Cataraqui Trail -10 minutes from convenience store with LCBO -30 minutes to Frontenac Provincial Park -30 minutes to Dark Sky Viewing Area -1 hour from Prince Edward County Varty Lake is known for great fishing and also ice fishing. The most popular species caught here are Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, and Largemouth Bass. Directly across the Lake is Camden Centennial Park, a waterfront park that includes a groomed beach swimming area and kids playground. On the way into Yarker, there are two children’s parks, both of which sit right on Napanee River. The cottage is located approximately 25 minutes north of highway 401. There is plenty of parking on the cottage property itself, the driveway is long and can accommodate up to 6 vehicles.
