Although the hotel and room decos are outdated (stuck in the 80‘s), it was very clean with a comfortable and specious bed. Breakfast however was extrem basic, which personally did not bother me but it might be an issue for some. Staff were very friendly. If you are hiking and you are outside all day long plus you don’t care about the oldish deco, the hotel has its comfort. It is also in a great location, very easy to reach by bus from Sargans train station.

All rooms have balconies and flat-screen TVs and most offer free Wi-Fi. In summer you can sit outside on the terrace. You can park your car for free on site and the Parkhotel bus stops is right outside. A tennis court next to the hotel can be used on request. Bad Ragaz Golf Course is 5 mi away and it is a 20-minute drive to Lake Walensee.
