We stayed for 5 nights, and everything was excellent. The staff were very helpful, and the room facilities along with the size were just right—great value for the price we paid. The hotel’s location was very convenient, close to the metro (Line 13, National History Park station). The breakfast was delicious and had a good variety. Highly recommended!

A beacon of 21st-century China, Shanghai is modernizing at an electrifying rate. Nowhere is this more evident than the skyscraper-punctuated Pudong commercial district. The most distinct - the Oriental Pearl Tower - has a ball at the top and bottom and has fabulous city views. A number of towers also twist as they go up – a feat of contemporary engineering.
This side of the city also houses Shanghai Pudong International Airport, while Shanghai Hongqiao Airport is over the Huangpu River in the Puxi district. An area of older and less dominating buildings, Puxi features the elegant Bund area whose varied architecture includes a surprising array of Art Deco.
With a choice of shopping centers and small shops beneath brightly lit neon signs just like Chinatowns across the world, Shanghai shopping is fantastic.
Other must-see Shanghai attractions include the wonderful Shanghai Museum and the Jade Buddha Temple. For a break from the hustle and bustle, head to the Yuyuan Gardens, the beach or peaceful Zhujiajiao Water Town in the west.
Whether you choose one of the Shanghai hotels, apartments or hostels, take time to go to a tea house, a Chinese institution. Also worth sampling are Shanghai hairy crab, steamed dumplings and the freshwater fish so popular with locals.
The city was very clean and modern. The people were so friendly and you feel very safe here. People are extremely honest. The river boat cruise was awesome and there are lots of cool markets. The food is amazing, so much to see and just a beautiful city to look at. Also you can see in the evening people dancing, practicing Tai Chi etc. Everyone seems really happy and it is very affordable too in terms of food, accommodation etc. It totally exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend Shanghai to any travellers for a great, fun holiday.

With only 2 nights and 1 day spent in Shanghai, it went fast!...and exceeded our expectations for our first China visit. The overall feeling was that Shanghai has a good vibe! Took a bus tour at night to see the bright lights on either side of the River, walked along the Bund, ate out (many choices!)..can recommend 'The Coffee Shop' for tasty food. Museums book up, so trust the Tourist guide when it says 'you have to book'!! Did get into the Shanghai History Museum which was incredibly well done and interesting. We took taxis which were reasonably priced...and the Maglev from the Airport...and it was easy to walk from our hotel.

Found it difficult getting around due to most people not speaking English.
Got lost several times at metro station and had not realized we had to change trains, but was happy that there was a voice announcements in English advising of the approaching stations.
The underground market at Science and technology were quite an experience as one had to haggle alot and get better prices.

The staff at the hotel were wonderful! Shanghai had a weather event which required us to book an extra night with several flights cancelled. At first there was no availability. However, the hotel went above and beyond to accommodate us with a great result including a later checkout. Lovely clean hotel, very spacious and a great airport transfer service!
Great location situated 20 minutes walk from the skyscrapers in Lujiazui with a magnificent view. Subway stations right next to the hotel with easy access to the airport and other attractions in Shanghai. Great breakfast buffet with Chinese and Western cuisine and decent fitness facilities.
Amazing hotel. Free shuttle bus from and to Shanghai Pudong AirPort at required times. Very Nice and clean rooms.
NOW WHAT WAS ABSOLUTLY AMAZING - most helpful hotel staff who I have ever seen. They helped me with everything. I have to say THANK YOU again.
Cool views, central location, one of the best breakfast selections we met in Shanghai staying in other 5star hotels. The king room itself is spacious enough, however the bathroom is a little cramped.
Good hotel for Shanghai Pudong transfer. Early check-in, late check-out, friendly staff, 15 minuts from terminal, near metro station, good breakfest, but chinese eat.
