The owners are amazing and really do they can to make you feel at home. This is a « locals » barrio so there are only a few little tiendas and really local restaurants. However within a short drive or very long walk there are a lot of activities and the beach. Very very close to the airport so if you have a flight out there next day it’s wonderful. Again wonderful hosts.

Great host. Wonderful treatment and care. Jorge brought us homemade coffee colombiano in the mornings. The AC was great, and there was Netflix available to cool down with when you finished exploring the city. The property is in a calm end of town, and we didn't feel unsafe walking around the neighborhood. The property is gated, which adds another layer of security and peace of mind. It's very close to the airport and walking distance to a number of local stores and restaurants. It's just a short taxi ride down to the Walled City and maribella Beach. Jorge was kind enough to tell us what rates we should be paying our cab drivers as to not get hit with "the gringo tax" and was accommodating to our arrival time when we got hung up at customs for 3 hours 🤯 and made us some coffees for our arrival and got the AC started in the room, which was much appreciated!

We chose the hostel because of the location which is close to the airport. We walked from the airport after 23:00 and it was safe. The hosts were very nice. In the morning we had a good breakfast outside on the patio and the host was VERY helpful. ( thank you again for taking us to the city and helping to change money, we wish you all the best with your plans to extend the hostel)

The place is located close to the airport. The owners are very nice, they met us with coffee and tea, helped us with everything, gave a lot of tips for our trip and were always available whenever we had questions. The room had an air conditioner. In general, it's a good place for a fair price.

Lo que más me gustó fue todo. La experiencia en Casa Pachi fue como estar con mi familia cartagenera. Don Jorge es un ser de luz y toda su familia es fantástica. La acogida es increíble y don Jorge pone el alma para solucionar todos los inconvenientes y ayudar a los huéspedes en lo que está en sus manos. Se me dañó el teléfono movil y me llevó a repararlo a un sitio de confianza que conocia, entre muchos otros favores. LA habitación es súper cómoda y está muy bien equipada. El patio tiene un jardín precioso e incluso lo visitan colibrís, sin duda alguna fue como estar en casa de mis tíos, es impresionante la calidad humana de la familia Paternina. Tanto fue así que aumentamos una noche la estancia. Recomendadisimo a todo aquél que quiera vivir Cartagena desde otro punto de vista alejado del bullicio turístico. Repetiremos sin duda
