The rooms were wonderful. Spacious and felt luxorious. The location is very good. The staff was very supportive and attentive. My special greetings go to the breakfast team! We stayed in Beta for 3 nights, and after 1 night they already knew our "special needs" and served it without saying a word :)
Kudos also for the football/soccer field next to the breakfast area. It was great place for the kids to burn their energy while waiting for the family to finish their meal.

Salento is picturesque with colorful houses and beautiful interiors, located in the mountains and with a valley that is one of the main entrances to the high "nevados". Everything in Salento is about coffee, art, nature, birds and hiking. The best time to visit Salento is outside of the high season for a truly relax experience.

The cocora valley was closed on the 2 days we were there.
The cocora valley was closed on the 2 days we were there. This was the main reason we went and due to heavy rains or something along those lines, the road was damaged and not accessible by the Willy trucks. So everyone in line was turned away and told it was closed. Salento is very salesy - Filandia is a similar vibe with all of the painted houses but a bit less sales oriented. Would have stayed in Filandia and visited Salento for the day instead.
Coffee excursion was enjoyable.

Beautiful, colorful and lively town that preserves the architecture, traditions and flair of Colombia's coffee region. The place welcomes everyone , solo travelers, couples, families, etc. It offers a good variety of activities, ranging from strolling around the town to mountain trekking, from tours at coffee farms to fine handcrafts shopping, from dining traditional dishes to international cuisine. I recommend visiting this town to everyone.

I was pleased we chose to stay in Salento rather than at an outlying hacienda. Salento was very crowded with tourists/travelers but the town plaza was our favorite place to be in the mornings/evenings. Our two favorite restaurants were Juan Esteban (on the square) and Betatown. Both had very good food and service.

A cute, colourful town near the stunning Valle de Cocora, which is the main reason to visit. The coffee tours are a bit touristy, but it’s a good vibe. Be sure to play “tejos” and have a few beers at Los Amigos.
My experience at Terrazas de Salento was great and very impressive. From the yard of the property you get the best view of the town, the public area of the house is pleasantly decorated, and the room is very comfortable and convenient. A lot of details are taken care of so that you feel very user-friendly. The host and all of the staffs are very hospitable and polite, plus they are really helpful to give you advice about the town and the surrounding area. The breakfast was good with a lot of options.
What an iconic hostel!! The setting is so cool, with an amazing common area and two really fluffy and cute dogs wandering around. The vive is really nice and chill (but sociable) which suits Salento exactly. The staff were standout - so friendly and amazing and really made me feel at home. Breakfast is good too! The rooms are great, bathrooms are unreal the best I've used in hostels in Colombia!
We really enjoyed our stay, the hotel is absolutely beautiful and the hotel staff are very attentive and helped us with all of our questions, booking of activities and were super responsive for some last minute changes we needed to make. Food for breakfast and dinner was great, as were room & view. We were only here for one night but would suggest staying at least 2-3 nights in Salento.
This mid-range hotel is situated a short distance from the main plaza, and is a good option if you want to be right in the town centre. It has smart rooms, good breakfast, helpful staff and reasonable tranquillity. Salento is a good base for excursions but is heavily oriented to tourism: there may be calmer and less commercial destinations in the lovely surrounding countryside.
Everything! Lovely hotel perfectly located in Salento! Super comfy beds & the most amazing breakfast with views of the mountains! Definitely our favourite accommodation in Colombia! Very friendly staff with lots of information regarding tours and trips in the area. I also had a massage at the hotel spa, it was so good just what I needed after a few long days hiking!
It was a very nice boutique hotel with very pet friendly staff and grounds for well behaved pups. The shower and bathroom were large and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. The views were great. Not too many roosters near by. Location was good; less than 10 minutes to the central square of Salento. It was on the outer skirts of Salento.
Pedro is a really great guy. He greets you warmly every time you run into him. I enjoyed practicing my Spanish with him while he practiced his English with me.
The location is convenient being outside the main core of Salento and also only a couple minute walk from the bus station. The dorm rooms are nice and clean.
Breakfast was delicious. The room had a desktop and a TV set. Hotel's location is awesome because is very close to the town's square but it was far enough to enjoy a pleasant night. I am frequent visitor of Salento and this hotel is one of the hotels that I could come back in the future.
The hotel is very new and I absolutely loved the interior. Beds are comfortable and staff was super friendly. You can tell the owners have a great eye for detail. We loved to stay at Panorama Salento and would definitely stay there again.
I loved the time we spent at the hotel Natura Cocora. The location is exceptional, 15 min from Salento and in the middle of the nature. We went with my family and we were very happy with the service and the installations.
The location is amazing, deep in the countrysid but very close to Salento
The hotel itself is cosy and the staff very nice. Waterfalls nearby for a nice early morning swim. Highly recommended.
We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spacious and had a roomy bathroom. The hotel had a colonial style and authentic decor. Breakfast was phenomenal and the terrace provided a nice view.
One of the best Hostel im Salento.. Hotel staff organize different activities like YOGA, Spanish learning, Salsa, fruit tasting etc. A good place to socialize and make new friends.
Everything was great, the service was the best. The attention received was perfect and everyone treated us like we were family. Plus the hotel is really close to Salento.
The hotel staff (Carlos, Edwin, Albani) was so friendly and you can tell that they really love their work. the view was espectacular and the Food was amazing too
