the house is a 10 minute walk to a white sand beach and a pristine blue lagoon, with excellent surf breaks, snorkeling,fishing,beach walking and bird watching. the rental area is in a secure and natural ,peaceful setting with coconut, lemon,orange and guanabana trees, flowers, humming birds and monkeys, a bird lovers paradise that will let you enjoy nature and relax in the hammock. we are green with solar power,the house is provided with ceiling fans and the main bedroom is provided with air conditioning and a queen size bed and a single bed. the smaller bed room has a queen size bed with ceiling fans. it is located walking distance to restaurants, good surf breaks,bus service and taxis are available and one could get by with out a car. a grill is provided the guest needs to supply the charcoal. Tours available to National Parks, like Rincon de la Vieja National Park, where you can see volcanoes, water fall hiking, birds and animals. Hacienda El Viejo Wetlands, where you can make a tour by boat to see cocodriles and bird watching, and visit the Rum making factory. Also available are cooking lessons of traditional foods and spanish lessons.

playa avellanas is a friendly small beach community with quite a few surf breaks one for each skill level. there are several good restaurants in the area all walking distance, where you can play foos ball or pool and watch sports games and . long walks on the beach and spectacular sunsets. Getting To Avellanas From the Liberia Airport travel to Santa Cruz, right before entering Santa Cruz there is a bridge and you want to make a right just before the bridge and travel for 26 kilometers to a small town called Hernandez, turn left there and from there it is 8 kilometers to the Avellanas, the last 6 kilometers before Avellanas after the left turn at Hernandez is a gravel road.
