Location is great for a little escape. It’s very quiet and having lots of little cottages creates a nice atmosphere. It has a nice authentic rustic feel but still needs a lot of work after obvious years of neglect (apparently it’s under new ownership). Rooms were simple but clean and comfortable. Good shower pressure (these little things matter to me when travelling).

It offers elegant country-style rooms and chalets, a small mining museum and a traditional restaurant. The extensive grounds of the Areál include a fully functional mill wheel and a large garden with a barbecue area. A garden chess and miniature golf. Accommodations offers the atmosphere of the past times, while providing all the modern facilities such as tiled bathrooms, flat-screen TVs and fridges. Na Mlýně’s interiors are elegantly decorated with characteristic milling and peasant objects. The restaurant serves regional and Czech specialties accompanied by selected Moravian wines or traditional yeast beer. Frydek-Mistek is 9.3 mi away, and Bila Ski Resort can be reached within 6.2 mi.
