Chalupa je velmi pěkná, s nádhernými kachlovými kamny v prostorné společenské místnosti. Ochotná paní správkyně pravidelně přikládala, takže chalupa byla příjemně vytopená i v mrazech. Příjezdová cesta byla protažená, sjízdná bez řetězů, parkování bez problémů přímo u chalupy. Pokoj prostorný, standardně vybavený i pro delší pobyt, pro větší vaření možno využít kuchyň v přízemí. Postele pohodlné. Kolem chalupy vede turistická značka směřující na hřeben Rychlebských hor, na upravovanou běžkařskou trasu je to pár kroků.
