Ferienwohnung am Stemberg is located on the first floor of a two-family house in the beautiful Berlebeck district of Detmold. This is an ideal starting point for excursions through the beautiful Teutoburg Forest. This holiday apartment has a separate entrance. The spacious living/sleeping area features a real wood parquet floor, a wood-burning stove and access to the balcony. A 40-inch flat-screen HDTV is provided for evening entertainment. The kitchen at Ferienwohnung am Stemberg is fully equipped and is located in a separate room. The bathroom offers a window, WC, a shower with a glass partition, a sink and cabinet, a mirror and a hairdryer. Towels and bed linen are provided for free. Attractions in the village include the eagle aviary where you can follow the flight paths or birds of prey or else experience the history of falconry. Nearby are also external stones, the Hermann monument, the open-air museum and bird park. Parking is available free of charge at the on-site car park.

The apartment is located near the forest in the quiet south of Detmold, in the village Berlebeck. The cozy rooms offer you an ideal retreat to relax after interesting explorations of the Lipperland.
We are an elderly couple from the beautiful Lipperland. Our children left Detmold a few years ago, so we descided to make other use of the rooms. With much love an joy we renovated and refurnished the apartment in 2017. Our hobbies are hiking and walking our dog in the Teutoburg Forest. At the house we have a large garden. The gardening keeps us young and makes a lot of fun. We love to visit cultural events in Detmold and the surrounding area. We also love to motorcycle, to bowl and to play cards. We also like to paint and read. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. We would love to inform you about excursions, sights, restaurants and hiking trails.
In the village itself is the Adlerwarte, where visitors can experience the history of falconry. The Externsteine, the Hermanns monument, the open-air museum and the bird park are nearby. The Teutoburg Forest is a two-minute walk away and invites you to long wonderful hikes.
