Charming location with functional furnishings in the lively and multicultural district of Ottensen: • spacious living room (extendable, comfortable sofa 140cm, TV), • Corner with pull-out "Daybed" (90-140cm), • niche with workplace, • simple, spacious eat-in kitchen, • small bedroom (1.40 m bed) • Shower room. The apartment is on the 1st floor of a small residential and commercial building with a small staircase directly above the Brooklyn BBQ Bar. In addition to the kitchen with dining area and shower, you have 2.5 rooms at your disposal: living room, bedroom and work niche. Bed linen and towels are ready for you in the apartment upon arrival. Since the building is a bit older and typical of Altona/Ottenser construction, the apartment is crooked and crooked in some places. Above all, the old, small stairwell with steep stairs looks very run-down at first glance and maybe daunting. But is that also what makes it “special”? ;)

Ottensen is becoming increasingly popular. The neighborhood impresses above all with the combination of lively events and small cozy shops. Below the apartment you will find the "Brooklyn BBQ Bar" with a great barbecue and great drinks. Right next door, the "viavai" offers a good pizza or pasta on the fly, "Die Patisserie" seduces with delicious French. Baked goods and a little further you can meet for a great coffee in the "torrefaktum". Concert fans are sure to know the "Factory" opposite. And those are just the possibilities just below. If you continue, you will soon find the Thalia Theater on the left out of the door, on the right towards Ottenser Hauptstr. many shopping opportunities and other restaurants & bars, as well as the Mercado Center. The "Zeise" with cinema is not far either. If you don't make it to Alnatura in time, Rewe around the corner or Aldi nearby, 2 kiosk shops (one with a post office) are open longer. Bus number 2 stops within walking distance of the apartment on Friedensallee, otherwise the Altona train station (bus & train) is about 15 minutes away on foot. Out the door on the left you can also easily rent a city bike at the station. The first half hour is even free. With the taxi rank right across the street, you have the best conditions to get from A to B in Hamburg quickly and easily. With a bit of luck, parking is right on the street. After a few rounds you can usually find something. You can park directly opposite, but parking tickets must be drawn. Völckerstr. right next to Café Torrefaktum is (currently still) free. A little further down Bahrenfelder Strasse is the “Vivo” multi-storey car park. The daily rate is shown on the Sprinkenhof website.
