The ground-level house is particularly suitable for a vacation with children. The rural surroundings are a great place to unwind. The vacation park AULATAL is embedded by forests and fields at the foot of the Eisenberg in the Knüllgebirge. The vacation park offers wonderful relaxation and recreation in the climatic health resort Oberaula-Hausen. Here in the "Rotkäppchenland", the home of the Brothers Grimm, there are many interesting things to explore. The festival town of Bad Hersfeld with its spa gardens deserves special mention. For motorcycle riders there are four great tours for which maps are available on site. Sporting activities are offered by the surrounding area according to your heart's desire, for example a direct connection to the ?Rotkäppchen-Bahnradweg?: which can be ridden by bike or e-bike. Hikers will find many signposted hiking trails and extensive maps. Guided hikes are also offered, for example to the Knüllhöpfen or the Eisenberg with observation tower. The very attractive 18-hole golf course from the Kurhessen Golf Club is only 1,000 meters away. There is a discount on the green fee for guests of the vacation home.
