Address in English: Oerningevej 10. Oerninge, 4140 Borup. We rent the whole first floor on our 100 year old house. You rent always 75 m2. You always have 2 bedrooms, a private toilet and kitchen. The house has been completely renovated since we bought it in 1984 and until today. We have tried largely to renovate the house so it still looks like a house that is about 100 years old. Of course there are catered for insulation and fireproofing of the renovation; but the floors are the floors you would have put 100 years ago. Lacquered pine floors. Visible rooster beams. The windows are called Dannebros Windows, becourse there is a cross in the windows, like in our flag (Dannebro), they used a lot in the old days. We have 2 cats which do not enter, and two very cute Labrador retrievers, mother and daughter. You rent always two rooms, a smaller bedroom 12 kvdr.m. with a double bed, and a 60 KVdR. m. living room with 2 sofa beds, dining table for 5-6 people, TV, DVD player and Radio. Bed linen is of course included. You have a private kitchen with stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, dishes, etc. There are barbecue facilities in the garden and chairs, tables and umbrellas.

We are a married couple Inger and Bent as driver Borup Bed and Breakfast. We spend a lot of time to go to concerts ranging from rock and roll to ballads ; but we also love classical concerts. We like to go on painting exhibitions, both older typical Danish ; but also the young wild artists. We started our B & B , in 2013. We had previously rented the rooms out to a solid bearings; but think it's more fun to have different tenants.

Our lovely house is close to Borup, by train to Copenhagen. The house is situated in an agricultural zone next to open fields. Our neighbor has a 10-12 pregnant cows walking on the field up to our garden. We like to stay in the country; yet close to town. We all know each other in the village (8 houses), and help each other. We look after each other's homes when someone is on vacation. Bent plays rock and roll with opposite neighbor and a friend. The same neighbor also has a small private beer brewery. We keep up with the neighbors' joys and sorrows. We meet two times a year in the village, mulled wine and fritters at Christmas and have a barbecue in the summer. Often, we are invited to birthdays in the village. The area is close to the forest, and we have many forests you can walk in, close to where we live. 15 km away from us is Land of Legends, where thers is built villages as they appeared in the Viking Age. In summer houses populated by volunteers who live and live in the houses. In Roskilde found cathedral where our kings are buried in the church, except the last deceased king who was buried outside.
