The area is very special, the views unique and on a good clear day you can see heaps of volcanoes, the Cotopaxi Volcano, Illinizas, Tungurahua, Sincholagua, El Altar, el Rumiñuahui and Chimborazo. The sunsets are different every night. The cabin is 45m2, two bedrooms, in each bedroom there is a bunkbed, with a double bed and a single bed on the top, sleeps 4 people, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, lots of outdoor space, parking, wifi, childrens swings and board games, fire pit and bbq.
I am originally from UK but I married an Ecuadorian over 11 years ago and have lived in Ecuador ever since. We love spending time at home and we are full of local and national tourist information to share.
We are close to the Cotopaxi National Park which has amazing views and hikes. The Reserva Boliche is also close by for hikes and days out. You can go to the Quilotoa Lagoon for a day excursion. Most people in the neighbourhood work on the land, there are plenty of cows close by, corn and alfalfa are grown locally. Close by there is a small corner shop, 3 kms away there are other larger options, and 25 kms away there is a large supermarket.
