Lovely Spanish style detached house with 2 double glazed self-contained apartments, each having their own private patio. Enjoy a countryside vibe with walks along the river bed and lots of trees on your doorstep, yet just 8 minutes walk to the beach where there are also a few bars, a restaurant and a shop.

We are a friendly, cheerful couple who love living in Spain and are very well integrated into the local Spanish culture. We know the area very well and can advise you on what to do and where to go if you would like that. We have been hosting our house for many years in the UK before coming to Spain so we know what guests expect and we have excellent attention to detail. We love yoga, swimming, cooking and eating out.

Our Spanish neighbourhood is generally very quiet but it can get a bit noisy at weekends and during the summer, when our lovely Spanish neighbours sometimes invite their families round for a spot of paella and flamenco. It is really easy to stroll down to the beach from your apartment and have a drink or meal sitting outside a bar or restaurant overlooking the sea. If you fancy a longer stroll, you can walk for miles very safely along the beach path in two directions. Go left and you get to the charming village of Benajarafe which has lots of cafes, bars, restaurants and a small supermarket. Stroll along to the right and you'll find the urban beachfronts of Torre de Benagalbón and Rincón de la Victoria where you'll find plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants to take in the views. There is also a large supermarket in this direction - just a 20 minute walk from your apartment. If you want a challenge, you can walk to Malaga along a beach path although it will take you a good 4 hours. Much quicker to drive in just 25 minutes. Benajarafe, Torre de Benagalbón and Rincón all have massive beaches with life guards where you will always find a spot even in summer. You can also rent sunbeds and sunshades directly on the beach. All have plenty of places to buy ice creams as well as fabulous bakeries for a sneaky snack. Our beloved bakery Salvador in Benajarafe and Rincón boasts the best croissants we have ever tasted. There is a bus stop 8 minutes walk from us that has a slighty erratic bus service running in either direction approximately one an hour going either to Malaga or to Torre del Mar. But if you want to do more than just mosy around very locally we advise you to rent a car, especially in high summer as it can feel very hot walking around unless you walk right by the beach with your toes in the water. Entertainment wise there is always plenty of live music in our area and in Malaga, including beach bars with very lively knees ups every evening in summer.
