Characterized by its crystalline waters, Las Canteras Beach, is considered the main urban beach in the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and one of the most important in the Canary Islands. It has been awarded with several national and international certificated, among them, the Q for Tourist Quality. Las Canteras Beach extends from the Alfredo Kraus Concert Hall, to La Puntilla. Along its 3 kilometers, you can enjoy different areas: La Cícer (a surfing and body board area), Peña La Vieja, Playa Chica, Playa Grande and La Puntilla (local fishermen's las spot and where you can find a wide range of gastronomic options).
