Carrara marble floors, chic décor and top-quality amenities, renovated in 2022. Situated on the top floor of a gated community in Punta de la Mona, The Beacon offers direct sea views from the kitchen, living room and spacious terrace, plus direct gate-key beach access via the property. Walk to the restaurants, supermercados, boats and diving activities of Marina del Este in 5 minutes; drive to Granada, Malaga, or skiing at Sierra Nevada in about an hour.
My search for the perfect home began in 2002, when I moved from the USA to Europe. Seeing Punta de la Mona was "love at first sight" for me and ticked all of my boxes, and so I set about making a comfortable place to welcome travelers from all walks of life who want the same experience - until I can retire!
Punta de la Mona is a special enclave of La Herradura, the only coastal town in Granada with an indigenous nature reserve. The unspoiled land and water offer excellent opportunities for hikers, divers, and birdwatchers - while being just a short drive from Malaga, Granada, and Sierra Nevada skiing. This gated community has two private parking lots, and parking is usually available right next to the door. You can walk down to the Marina’s beach, shops, and restaurants in 3-5 minutes. By car, Almuñécar (big supermarket) is 15 minutes away; Malaga Airport, Granada and Sierra Nevada skiing are about an hour away.
