The cabin was built from massive wood, it has a pure eco-friendly environment. The large living room-studio includes a sofa-bed for 2 persons, a fireplace, an air-conditioner, a dining set, and a fully equipped kitchen with a medium-size fridge. There is also a dedicated working place. The bedroom is located on the 2nd floor, it has a Queen size double bed 160x200, and two 90 cm wide beds, chest of drawers, hangers. You will have two wooden heated saunas (inside sauna and summer yard sauna) and grill house or kota. Summer sauna is in a use from 1.6 till 15.9. You can use the sauna every night to shower and enjoy the heat. Then just go and jump in snow! As there is no running water inside the cabin, you will use water from the central water point at the terrace. A warm outhouse dry toilet Biolan is a part of the terrace. The cabin location is perfect to spot the Northern Lights and wildlife. Reindeer just stop in our yard or eat the grass on the field nearby. Additionally, we can organize winter / summer outdoor activities, for example, a snowmobile trip to hunt for the Northern Lights. As well you can rent snowshoes/fishing equipment. For children outdoor activities we have a couple of sleds. If you decide to visit Ranua Honkivaara sled hill to enjoy a really fast sledding, you can take our sleds with you. Bed linens, towels, and final cleaning are included in the price. Things to note: No running water inside cabin. Water for cooking and washing is from water point at the house terrace. Showering will take place in the sauna.

You can experience the beautiful Finnish autumn, or “Ruska.” Summer and autumn are filled with mushrooms and berries, such as cloudberries (Lapland gold), blueberries, and lingonberries. Reindeer often stop at the nearby field to graze, and you can spot squirrels, rabbits, and birds just by sitting on the terrace. The nearest lake beach is about 5 km away, and a small river close to the house is rich in perch and pike. In summer, we offer various kayak trips. This place is also ideal for biking, trekking, and hiking—just don't forget to bring mosquito repellent! Our additional services in winter include Aurora hunting, snowmobile trips, snowshoeing experiences, and visits to a local reindeer farm. If you’re lucky with the solar wind, you can witness the most incredible natural show—the Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis—from the end of August until March, right from the yard.
