The property was very clean, comfortable and homely. Ideally situation for a short walk into town.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Richard and Yvonne. They recommended a Vietnamese restaurant in town and Richard took me in the car and picked me up as it was raining. How lovely! The room was huge and very tastefully decorated. The bathroom was wonderful with a great shower. I will be returning as I do come to Montmorillon frequently.

I loved the location and the host and hostess Richard and Yvonne so much! they invited me to join them for dinner so I would not be sitting alone. Plus it was Richard’s birthday 🎂! stay here and ask about the bottle 1966 wine we shared lol😅 My bedroom had an amazing Marks and Spencer bed and slept like a log! The breakfast was incredible and way too much for me🥰 We shared tea and chat and I felt like I was part of the family. The town was beautiful too.

Well what can I say? If I could have gave 100 score I would !!! Richard & Yvonne are the nicest couple you could wish for as hosts, from the moment we arrived at their beautiful house we were made to feel instantly welcome, even having a drink waiting for us as they did every evening when we arrived back after being out all day. Sitting having a chat before going out for a meal, the breakfast was amazing with everything you could ask for fetched fresh each morning. I honestly can’t praise this place or hosts any more they just do everything right thank you both so much for your hospitality

Ideal location just 10 min walk to the centre of Montmorilllon. Richard and Yvonne were really friendly and the restaurant they suggested was excellent. The room was lovely and comfortable and very welcome after a long journey. Finally just to say the breakfast was first class with everything you could have wished for. The property itself was in a great location from which to walk into the town and was stylishly renovated to a very high standard.
