The accommodation consists of 2 houses that can be rented separately or together: La Maisonnette du "Soleil couchant" is a charming, fully renovated rental. It's a 250-year-old stone house, with a living room, fully-equipped kitchen and sunny terrace. The bedroom has a double bed and 2 single beds. The small bathroom has a large shower, a small washbasin and a wall-hung toilet. An ideal cottage for a family of 4 or a couple, to relax in the countryside and enjoy the wonders of Périgord. The large Maison du Soleil couchant is part of the same old farmhouse, renovated with authentic charm. It comprises 2 bedrooms with double beds, a lounge/library with sofa bed, a kitchen/dining room with fireplace, as well as a bathroom and 2 toilets. Its large south-west-facing terrace overlooks a large wooded park, which is very pleasant and quiet. Ideal for 4 to 6 people. The house is a haven of peace in a rural region rich in monuments, rock caves etc...
We are a family with a passion for outdoor sports and travel. We'll be delighted to welcome you at sunset, in the hamlet of La Gonterie Boulouneix in the commune of Brantôme in Périgord, in the heart of the beautiful Dordogne countryside. The houses are part of an old family farm dating back over 2 centuries. We have completely renovated them, respecting the traditional style without neglecting modern comforts.
La Gonterie-Boulouneix is a hamlet in the commune of Brantôme in Périgord. It's in the heart of the Périgord Vert region, with its wealth of historic sites to visit, its resplendent village markets, each more beautiful than the last, and, of course, the local gastronomy that lives up to its reputation.
