Welcome to Les Chouettes, a stunning cottage in Central Brittany. We are conveniently situated in a charming rural hamlet between the two large towns of Callac and Guingamp. It offers the perfect family holiday, a home from home, with a fully equipped kitchen including washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. The large comfortable lounge also has a dining table that comfortably seats 6. There is a downstairs toilet. The property is furnished and equipped to a high standard. On the upper floor there is a spacious master bedroom with king size bed and also a cosy seating area, plus a second large bedroom with double bed and two twin beds. The family bathroom is also on this floor between the two bedrooms. Les Chouettes boasts an attractive garden, private parking and two wood burners for those cosy winter evenings or chilly summer evenings.We also have newly installed central heating. There is a secret,enclosed rear garden with a BBQ/fire pit/ice bucket and gravelled seating area where you can soak up the sun on the sun loungers or relax on the cushioned garden furniture.. Les Chouettes is ideally situated for exploring the wonderful Brittany countryside.

Your holiday host, Cara, has been living locally from the age of 12, is fluent in French and English and very much looking forward to greeting you. On hand to help if needed and support you during your stay. She can guide you to local destinations of interest and will be happy to organise anything. She will leave you with her phone number for emergencies for peace of mind or to arrange anything that may make your stay more comfortable.

Les Chouettes is situated in a friendly hamlet within easy reach of the D787 which is part of the Carhaix - Guingamp trunk road. Both of these large towns with all amenities and retail parks are easily reachable within half an hour. Both towns have swimming pools and tourist information. Market day is Saturday morning in Carhaix and Guingamp has a market on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday morning. The closest town to Les Chouettes is Callac (just under 10 minutes drive) which has a supermarket, banks, cinema, pharmacy, post office, dr, bakers with tea room, bars/cafes, restaurants and an English shop. Market day is Wednesday. Within walking distance of the town centre is the green valley with very pleasant, easy walks and a fishing lake. (permit required) There is a hunting shop in Callac that should cater for all a fisherman's needs. Also in Callac is the famous Breton Spaniel museum. 15 minutes away is the spectacular Valley of the saints where statues of many saints have been erected on top of the hillside. Not to be missed!!! On the 3rd Sunday of the month there is a very popular vide grenier (car boot sale) and market just 5 minutes up the road from Les Chouettes. Local train.
