tranquil and peaceful little hamlet run by Sarah and Harriette, both lovely human beings. the gite is very spacious, beautifully designed, super clean, fully equipped, and so relaxing (sit outside on the deck in the morning with a delicious coffee overlooking garden and fields). incredible value for money. we stayed for three nights and left completely rejuvenated!

Les Rouge Terres Gites (opened 2022), a renovated old dairy farm, is nestled deep in the heart of the Normandy countryside. The barns have been renovated into high quality accommodation for those wishing to have a relaxing stay with stunning views. At Les Rouges Terres gite we have table tennis, table football and petanque to keep the children entertained. This perfect, central location, only 10km from Pole Hippique in the Normandy capital of Saint-Lo, is also within 40 mins of Bayeux and the D-Day beaches and only 50 minutes to Mont St. Michel. There is also Festyland Theme Park and Zoologique close by. Here, in Normandy, there is lots to do for all the family. (Please ensure you check the location in the map section to make sure it is in the correct location for you before booking). Or you may wish to stay around the grounds and enjoy the 7 acres of land Les Rouges Terres has to offer, observing the abundance of wildlife. The gite has 1 double bedroom with double bed and a sofa bed in the living room , to suit either a couple or family of four. 100% cotton bed linen and Egyptian cotton towels are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped for your stay and there is a BBQ and pizza oven with outdoor seating.

Les Rouges Terres Gites are self catering accommodation, and the beautiful local village Torigny sur Vire only 2 mins away has an abundance of local shops including boulangerie, boucherie and patisserie, as well as a weekly market to buy lots of fresh ingredients. There are also several quintessential french restaurants, shops and bars. Les Rouges Terres Gites are ideally located for all the Normandy tourist attractions; Mont Saint Michel 62 Km and Bayeux only 35 km, Saint Lo is only 15 minutes away which is home Pole Hippique and the Normandy Horse Show. Les Roches de Ham, fantastic view point and perfect for walking along the Vire is only 10 mins away.
