The two bedroom house confortably hosts four guests (two double beds) and has a fully renovated bathroom. The house is very authentic of the Cevennes area and full of character. The little town of Saint-Leurent le Minier dates from medieval times and so does the house. In the eighties, the roof terrace was built which was a great addition. There, you can have great lunches and dinners with a view, or stay out late and gaze at the night sky. Keep eyes open for shutting stars! The kitchen is very special as it was carved in the stone since the house belonged to miners in ancien times. The neighbourhood is very quiet. You will be at walking distance (10 min) from “Cascade de la Vis” a great bathing spot!

There you can disconnect from the routine and reconnect with nature as it is nestled at the foot of the Cevennes national park. Get refreshed by splashing or kayaking in the local rivers. Or just take in the view from the rooftop terrace. In colder seasons, relax by the fireplace, after exploring the numerous nearby hiking trails. Saint-Laurent-le-Minier is a peaceful village with a mining past. It's typical, authentic "cevenol" stone houses with occitane tile roofs are very charming. Mimi runs the local convenience store, but the main amenities and services are a few minutes away by car, in the town of Ganges. Both Montpellier and Nîmes are about an hour's drive away.
