Cargese is at the beginning of the Mare Mare Nord and Tre Mare Monti long distance walks. There is a bus from Ajaccio mid afternoon. With a car you could also visit Piana and Porto from here. The port and beach are downhill from town. The town is quiet in April.GaryUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Cargèse is a perfect place to stop and you can explore the west coast of pina & porto which are beautiful! Also the lovely beaches in the area too !! Restaurants in Cargèse I find are very good and there is plenty of choices 😄

Location on top of the village, on the best side of the hill offering an amazing view over the Peru beach and Omigna tower peninsula. Truly breathtaking to wake up in the morning and have your breakfast or sundowner in the evening. Lots of space in the appartment, big rooms and good firm bedding of sufficient size for two adults. It's not those tiny and short 140-160 beds. Parking available just a few meters behind the residence. WiFi worked without issues. Top air-conditioning.

Both bedrooms are equipped with air-conditioning and all windows have fly screens. We had a wonderful and relaxed time in Cargèse and really enjoyed the west coast of Corsica.

To go to the beach is however you need a car. We had a room that is looking to the street, with the open windows you hear everything from the cars and street. We had a good stay there.
