Apartment size, location and cleanliness. Contact with landlord very good, he was very helpful, flexible and responsive. It is 15-20min walk to metro line 8, for us it was enough. It is usually 1h to get to the city center
Situated in Charenton-le-Pont, 7.4 km from Opéra Bastille and 8.7 km from Notre Dame Cathedral, Charme de l'ancien aux portes de Paris! offers air conditioning.

Up from the Check in the staff was super helpfull and gave us great tips how to travel to the different turistic locations.
The room was great, super super clean.
The bed was great and the pillows were also exceptional. Amenities were great and the locations of the hotel beside the railway station is just great. Close to the Metro.
The breakfast was exceptional in a very calm place, nice chill out music and very great staff.
We can absolutely recommend the hotel .
NH Paris Gare de l'Est hotel is located opposite Gare de l’Est Train and Metro Station, which provides direct access to attractions such as Saint-Michel and the Latin Quarter.

This conveniently located hotel, easy to reach from any place in Paris, allowed me to have a very comfortable, quiet, clean room for a budget price. While other hotels were so expensive, with this this hotel Porte de Bercy I could afford to stay in Paris.
The food for breakfast was varied, plentiful and delicious, in large and airy rooms.
I recommend it to tourist so they can sleep well and do not burn a hole in their wallet

Reception needs a bit of more warm attitude. pls provide water atleast. requested for water so many times.... that was the only issue. The cost of restaurant was too much. so, i didnt take their buffet as you can eat at onethird price just in next shop...

Good point is the shopping centre but it seems to be on the verge of closing down. Pärking underneath the hotel is shared with the centre and there are loads of spaces available for a reasonable amount of 12 euros from midnight to midday. Unfortunately that's all there is to say, the place is extremely difficult to get to with the signage not very clear, even with satnav. Traffic is horrendous and if you miss your junction you have to go all the way round the system again. Good point is that an Uber will cost only about 9 euros to get you to Porte Dorée area where there are lots of interesting things to see and visit. Charenton le Pont is too remote for anyone wanting to do touristy things.

Stayed there due to a conference close to the area.
Stayed there due to a conference close to the area. Otherwise would not recommend. The rooms and building in general are quite old and the service was inadequate at times, particularly when it comes to the variety of options for room service. There is a superb bakery though very close as you exit the hotel. Also it was thankfully close to Liberte metro station making transport convenient. However, overall, poor quality-price relationship.

It's an affordable hotel in Paris, that is a very complicated city for finding where to stay without paying a fortune. The hotel has reception the 24 hours and a place to leave the luggage if you arrive ealier than the check-in time or leave later than the check-out. Also, we were able to recieve a package before our arrival and they stored it for us. The location is not the best but there are tram and metro stations nearby, so it is well connected.
The rooms are quite and the kitchen has basic staff to prepare some meals.
While I was sleeping, the ignition alarm rang at 7 am for a long time and the sound was very loud. Thinking that the fire broke out, I am hurriedly left the room with my family and went to the hotel reception, Many customers hurriedly left the room. Then we waited for about 10 minutes , a waiter said nothing happened. It was a malfunction, and we were all dissatisfied. I went back to the hotel late at night and slept very late, and the alarm system was disturbed in the morning and I didn’t rest well.
I booked this hotel as needed something close to bus station at Quai de Bercy. It took me less than 10mins to get there by taxi and the area where hotel is located is pretty nice and quiet (at least was on Sunday evening). The hotel is nice, has vending and coffee machine in the lobby, a restaurant where breakfasts are served and you can also eat during other time of the day.
The room was "budget" but had everything I needed - a comfortable bed, a desk and a bathroom with shower and amenities.
It was very clean in the common areas and in the room when checking in, convenient self check in (no problems with late check in or early check out), close to the metro, very convenient kitchen with everything you need. I would stay at the hotel itself again
We have stayed at this hotel multiple times when visiting Paris. We come back because of the convenient parking situation and the proximity to the subway stop. We also enjoy the neighborhood restaurants as a place to relax after a day of sightseeing.
Hotel was well located to avoid driving in the middle of Paris. We stayed 1 night and walked the 15 mins to the metro which took us to the centre on Line 8 in about 20 mins.
Room was basic but clean, great for a short break in Paris.
Good hot shower.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They helped us to sort out transportation and addressed questions regarding that. The hotel is big, very easy to find and comfy. The beds were firm and the bathroom was very clean and good size.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. It had a good breakfast and a hotel bar. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. It was quiet. It was near the bus station as we were getting an early bus.
good room and nice bed . a big carrfour shop next to it to buy stuff . and i liked that there was a microwave in the hotel lobby so you can heat up your take away food or package food you bought from carrfour.
We liked the proximity of the hotel to metro, tram and supermarket, all of them are in a walkable distance and 24 hours help desk.
Hotel arranged temporary storage room in case you arrive before 3 pm
