Our one bedroom studio apartment is perfect for couples looking to get away for a few days. The studio os situated in a very quiet and peaceful rural hamlet just 12 minutes drive from historic Boussac, with a large market every Thursday and plenty of cafes to watch the world go by, and 4 minutes drive to Gouzon with its 18 hole public golf course and fishing lakes, supermarket with service station pharmacy, restaurants and Auberge.
The studio is all on the ground floor and consists of a cosy sitting area with TV&DVD player, dining table for romantic dinners for two. A well-equipped kitchenette with electric cooker, fridge and microwave.
One bedroom with double bed , en suit shower room. Outside is a terrace with seating area, optional canopy, and charcoal BBQ.
Secure storage is available for bikes and top boxes.
We moved to La Creuse in November 2021, looking for a quieter, easier pace of life. After having a holiday home here for 15 years we knew we wanted to stay in this area, to take advantage of the amazing lakes where we love to swim, canoe, paddle board and walk our dog.
This is the green heart of France boasting stunning wild landscapes, lakes and forests crossed by cycling and hiking trails. It is also full of rich architectural and artistic heritage in the shape of interesting towns, Romanesque buildings, plenty of charming chateaux and the famous Aubusson tapestry. There are numerous lakes for fishing and many larger lakes have man Made beaches where you can swim, Kayak, paddle board, zip wire and much more. We are 4 minutes drive from Gouzon with a supermarket, auberge and other essential shops and an 18 hole golf course.
